About
A national movement of school students using our collective power for change

The National Union of School Students (NUSS) is your national union representing secondary school students, including sixth form students, across England, Scotland and Wales.
Run by secondary school students, for secondary school students.
Too often, we’re excluded from decisions being made about us or that affect us. We’re here to change that.
We’re building a strong, democratic movement of school students, taking action on the issues that matter to us, from education and mental health to the climate crisis and the cost of living.
Schools join as members for free. School or student councils affiliated to NUSS will be able to participate in our decision making. This may include selecting representatives to take part in regional and national assemblies, setting and voting on priorities, and feeding into a national student council.
Keep an eye out for our upcoming actions and campaigns and updates on our governance.
